monday first period
the life of fools
i've become this person
in my mind
in others' eyes
now i can't stand myself
the time i waste is gone
my life is going faster
i'm falling through the cracks
of society's failure
walking stranded
empty
alone
watching the pictures
people
places
pass into space unknown
senses numb
eyes closed
striving toward a hopeless
destination
vanity makes fools
but only fools are vain
