They speak of hot summer nights
Hands clasped and deep breaths
Sultry wind on the faces of innocence
Love is born
Streetlights glow with shadows follow
The sensation of an embrace
Takes away the words of one
The other smiles
Stars and moon
Shine bright and strong
Beauty is of the night
In more ways than one
Time shared is fragile
Moments will end soon
Memories they will become
Until next meet
Thoughts will linger
On those summer nights
Eyes locked in longing
To stay forever
this poem was written to express the feelings i felt for another person. the summer of august 2007.
